The Clinical Pharmacist, Informatics will be responsible for the system-wide design, build, training, implementation and support of all medication use technology-based processes, including, but not limited to: CPOE, e-MAR, unit-based cabinet dispensing, pharmacy-based packaging, dispensing and compounding robotics, smart pump applications and pharmacy system infrastructure supporting bar-coded bedside medication administration. Acts as consultant to Nursing and Clinical Informatics departments providing medication information for the development of integrated medication-related system functionalities.


This position is also responsible for coordinating pharmacist staff input into system design and coordinating necessary decisions related to system operations within the pharmacy department. This position is an independently functioning individual with knowledge in clinical process flow, computer support processes and training.


The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Pharmacist-D degree or equivalent experience
  • Satisfactory completion of ASHP (Accredited Residency in Hospital Pharmacy Practice); clinical pharmacy practice setting experience; or specialized residency and/or board certification; PharmD preferred - See more at:
