PHARMACY SYSTEMS MANAGER
We are in search of a customer-oriented, licensed, pharmacist who is looking for the chance to be involved in all aspects of the pharmacy information systems for a well known hospital in Southern California. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy (not IT), you will be the point person for support of all applications and automation systems as well as new implementations. Since your pharmacy knowledge the key to this role, no specific application experience is required. Previous systems experience is important though. The ideal candidate will have several years of pharmacy application support, an understanding of pharmacy systems and operations, and excellent communication skills. Training of end users in the pharmacy will also be a component of this role.
The most exciting part of this position is the upcoming new system implementation. The hospital is part of a multi-facility hospital group, and it is moving in the next 2 years to one of the most recognized pharmacy systems currently available.
